Adaptation and engaging with obstacles is necessary when collaborating on immersive theater/dance projects, site specific events, and interactive games. Like Dr. Who's Sonic Screwdriver, I thrive in situations that require almost improbable ideas. As a self taught scenic, lighting, and props designer, I am quite comfortable outside the constraints of convention. Perhaps that is why I prefer to center voices of marginalized artists and to mentor other genre-bending thinkers.
